What is an assisted living facility?

Assisted living facilities provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, medications, and meal preparation while allowing residents to maintain a high level of independence.

What is the Allison-Shearin Rehab and Wellness Center?

We offer outpatient rehab at the Allison-Shearin Rehab and Wellness Center. This type of rehab allows you to live at home while receiving rehab to return to functional living. Patients who have undergone surgery are often candidates for outpatient rehab. We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy for patients with heart disease, cancer, COPD, neurologic disorders, joint-replacements, and more! Community members also have access to the certain parts of the facility for a monthly fee.

Does your facility have a doctor that sees patients?

Yes, we have a licensed medical doctor that routinely sees our residents to provide personalized care and treatment.

How do I pay for your services?

Your stay is typically covered by your insurance plan. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most other insurance plans.

What is the meal schedule?

Delicious meals are prepared by our kitchen staff 3 times a day along with snacks.

Is laundry taken care of by the facility?

Yes we will make sure all of your laundry is done for you.

How do I get to appointments outside of the facility?

We provide transportation services for medical appointments and planned social events.
